01Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are the agreement between you and the operator of PowerPlay ("we", "us") for the use of owerplay.slonik.store, including the Sportsbook, Live Betting, the Casino and Live Casino. By opening an account, depositing or placing a bet you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
Please read them before you play. If something is unclear, ask support first — we would rather answer a question now than settle a disagreement later.
02Definitions
- Account — your single PowerPlay player account, used for both the Sportsbook and the Casino.

04Applicable Jurisdiction
PowerPlay is offered only for play within the Province of Alberta, Canada, where online gambling is regulated by Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) and the iGaming market is managed by Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC). Nothing on the site is an offer to anyone located outside Alberta.
05Eligibility
You may open and use an Account only if all of the following are true:
- you are at least 18 years old and meet the eligibility requirements that apply in Alberta;
- you are physically located in Alberta whenever you play for real money;
- you act on your own behalf, with your own money, and not for anyone else;
- you are not self-excluded from gambling with us or under a provincial program, and not subject to a court order or legal restriction on gambling;
- you are not employed in a role that gives you inside knowledge of, or influence over, an event you bet on — for example as an athlete, coach, official or team staff member in that competition.
06Minimum Age
The minimum age is 18. The age confirmation on your first visit does not replace verification: your date of birth is checked during identity verification before any real-money play. If we find that an Account belongs to someone under 18, we close it, void any open bets and return deposits to the payment method they came from.
07Account Registration
You may hold one Account only. Registration asks for your email address, a password, full legal name, date of birth, home address and phone number; the details must be accurate and kept up to date in My Account. Duplicate Accounts are closed and may be merged into the original.
You are responsible for keeping your login private. Activity carried out with your login is treated as yours unless you told us, before it happened, that your login had been compromised.
08Identity Verification
We verify your identity, age and address before real-money play, and may repeat checks at any time, including before a withdrawal. Your Account shows its status as Unverified, Pending or Verified, and only shows Verified after a successful check. If verification cannot be completed, real-money play and withdrawals stay unavailable; if documents turn out to be false, we may close the Account and withhold funds as the law permits. See the Privacy Policy for how verification data is handled.
09Geographic Restrictions
You must be physically located in Alberta to access real-money casino games and sports betting. We confirm your location with a geolocation service before real-money play and may check it again during a session. An IP address alone is not accepted as proof of location. Using a VPN, proxy, location-spoofing tool or any other way to disguise your location is a breach of these Terms; bets placed that way may be voided and the Account closed.
10Deposits
Deposits are made in CAD through Interac from an account in your own name. Third-party payments are not accepted. Limits and processing times are shown in your Wallet before you confirm. A deposit that would exceed a deposit limit you have set is declined. Your Wallet is not a bank account and earns no interest; deposit only to play, not to store money.
11Withdrawals
You can request a withdrawal of your available balance from the Wallet. Withdrawals are paid through Interac to a verified account in your own name, and only after identity verification is complete. Limits and processing times are shown in your Wallet before you confirm. We may delay a withdrawal while we complete verification, anti-money-laundering or fraud checks, and will tell you if that happens.
12Casino Games
Casino games are supplied by licensed game studios and run on their certified systems; results are produced by each game's random number generator or, for live dealer games, by the physical round at the table. The rules, payout table and return-to-player information for each game are available inside the game. If a game malfunctions, all affected rounds and pays are void and stakes are returned. Where a round is interrupted by a lost connection, it is completed or settled according to the studio's rules, and the result appears in your casino history.
13Sports Betting
Sports bets are subject to these Terms and to the Sportsbook Rules below. A bet is placed only when you confirm it in the Bet Slip and it appears in your bet history with a bet ID. We may decline a bet, or accept a lower stake, at our discretion. Maximum stakes and potential returns are shown in the Bet Slip before you confirm.
14Live Betting
Live (in-play) betting is offered on events while they are in progress. Scores, clocks and statistics shown next to live markets are for guidance and may lag behind the real event. Live bets are subject to an acceptance delay, described under Live Betting Delays.
15Bet Settlement
Bets are settled by the sportsbook system using official results from our sports data providers, as described in the Sportsbook Rules. Settled amounts are added to your Wallet, and the settlement appears in your bet history.
16Cancelled Events
If an event is cancelled or abandoned, bets are settled as set out under Cancelled Events in the Sportsbook Rules: markets already decided stand, and the rest are void.
17Void Bets
A void bet is treated as if it had never been placed and the stake is returned to your Wallet. In a parlay, a void leg is removed and the parlay is recalculated on the remaining legs. The cases in which a bet is voided are listed under Void Bets.
18Sportsbook Rules
These rules describe how the PowerPlay sportsbook actually works. Where a sport has its own specific rule, it is shown on the event page and takes priority.
Betting Markets
Each event lists its markets — for example Money Line, Point Spread or Puck Line, Totals, Team Totals, period or half markets, correct score and player props. Unless the market says otherwise, hockey and football markets include overtime; markets labelled "60-Minute Result" or "Regulation" are settled on the score at the end of regulation time only.
Odds
Odds are shown in decimal format and change as the market moves. The odds that apply to your bet are the ones shown in your bet history at the moment the bet was accepted. If a price is clearly wrong because of an obvious technical or human error — for example odds that do not reflect the market at all — we may void the bet or settle it at the correct odds at the time it was placed.
Bet Acceptance
A bet is accepted once it appears in your bet history with a bet ID. If the odds change before acceptance, the Bet Slip shows the new price and waits for you to confirm it. A bet placed after the event or market has started, when that market was meant to be closed, is void unless it is a live bet.
Bet Settlement
Bets are settled on the official result declared by the governing body or competition organizer at the end of the event, without regard to later protests, appeals or changes. Settlement is carried out by the sportsbook system, not by hand, and we do not create or alter match results. If a result is settled in error, we correct it and adjust your Wallet accordingly.
Cancelled Events
If an event is cancelled or abandoned before completion, bets on markets whose outcome was already decided (for example "first team to score" after the first goal) stand. All other bets on that event are void.
Postponed Events
If an event is postponed, bets stand if the event is rescheduled and played within the timeframe set out in the rules for that sport on the event page. If it is not played within that timeframe, bets are void. A change of venue stands, unless the new venue is the home ground of the original away team.
Void Bets
A bet is void, and the stake returned, if: the event or market is cancelled or not completed as described above; the bet was accepted at a clearly wrong price; the bet was placed after the result was known; a participant in a player or matchup market does not take part; or the bet was placed in breach of these Terms, for example from outside Alberta.
Cash Out
Cash Out — settling a bet early for a set amount before the event ends — is not currently offered. Once accepted, a bet stays open until the event is settled. If Cash Out is introduced, its rules will be added here before it becomes available.
Live Betting Delays
To protect against bets placed with knowledge of something that has just happened, live bets are accepted after a short delay. If a significant event — a goal, a penalty, a break of serve, a red card — occurs during the delay, or the odds change, the bet may be declined or offered back to you at the new price.
19Promotions
From time to time we may offer promotions to verified players located in Alberta. Each promotion has its own terms, shown on the Promotions page and before you opt in: who is eligible, which product it applies to, what you have to do and when it expires. Where a promotion's terms conflict with these Terms, the promotion's terms apply for that promotion only.
20Bonus Conditions
If a promotion includes bonus funds or free bets, its terms state any wagering requirement, the games or markets that count towards it, how long you have to meet it and whether the bonus stake is returned with winnings. Bonus funds cannot be withdrawn until the conditions are met. One bonus per person, household and payment method unless the terms say otherwise. Bonuses are never offered to self-excluded players or players on a time-out, and we may withdraw a bonus that has been abused, for example through multiple Accounts.
21Responsible Gambling
Gambling involves financial risks. Play responsibly and only spend what you can afford to lose. Deposit, loss and session limits, reality checks and time-outs are available in My Account and apply to both the Casino and the Sportsbook. Lowering a limit takes effect straight away; raising one takes effect only after a cooling-off period. See Responsible Gambling for the tools and Alberta support services.
22Self-Exclusion
You can self-exclude from My Account or by asking support. During self-exclusion you cannot bet, play or deposit, you receive no marketing, and the exclusion cannot be shortened. Any remaining balance can be withdrawn. Opening a new Account while self-excluded is a breach of these Terms; we will close it and void its bets. Reopening after the period ends requires a request to support and is not automatic.
23Anti-Money Laundering
We comply with the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and report to FINTRAC where required. We may ask about the source of your funds, delay or refuse transactions, and keep records as the law requires. Depositing money and withdrawing it without playing, or using the Account to move money for others, is not permitted.
24Fraud Prevention
We monitor for fraud, collusion, multiple Accounts, use of stolen payment details, automated software (bots), exploiting errors and betting with inside information. Where we find any of these, we may void the bets or game rounds concerned, withhold winnings that resulted from them, close the Account and inform the regulator or law enforcement.
25Privacy
We process your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy, including identity verification, geolocation, payment data, bet history and casino session history.
26Liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, by your device or internet connection, or by your breach of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Alberta or Canadian law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
27Intellectual Property
The PowerPlay name, site design, text and software belong to us or our licensors. Games belong to their studios, and sports data to its providers. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial play only; copying, scraping or reverse-engineering any part of it is not permitted.
28Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint, contact support at support@owerplay.slonik.store or through the contact form, giving your account email, the bet ID or game and the date. You will get a ticket number straight away. If the answer does not resolve it, ask for the complaint to be escalated to a senior member of the team. If you are still not satisfied, you may refer the matter to Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC).
29Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Alberta have jurisdiction over any dispute that is not resolved through the process above.
30Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, the law or the regulator's requirements change. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. We will tell you about material changes by email or in your Account before they take effect; continuing to play after that date means you accept the updated Terms. Bets placed before a change are settled under the Terms in force when they were placed.
