How Online Gaming Works

Eleven steps from an empty sign-up form to your first withdrawal. Read them in order once, and you will know where every setting lives before you need it.

  1. Step 01 · Account

Step 1 — Create an Account

Registration takes a few minutes. You give us your email address, a password, your full legal name, date of birth, home address and phone number — the same details your bank has, because they are checked against official records in the next step.

You must be 18 or older to open an account, and each person may hold one account only. Use a password you do not use anywhere else.

  2. Step 02 · KYC

Step 2 — Verify Your Identity

Before any real-money play we confirm who you are. This is called KYC — "know your customer" — and Canadian law requires it of every gaming operator. We check the details you registered with and, where they cannot be matched, ask for a photo of a government-issued ID and sometimes a recent proof of address.

Your account shows its status at all times: Unverified, Pending or Verified. It only reads Verified once the check has actually passed.

  3. Step 03 · Geolocation

Step 3 — Confirm Your Location

You must be physically located in Alberta to access real-money casino games and sports betting. When you start a session, your device location is checked with a geolocation service — an IP address alone is never accepted as proof.

Travelling to British Columbia or Saskatchewan? You can still log in and manage your account, but betting and casino play stay locked until you are back inside the province.

  4. Step 04 · Banking

    Step 4 — Choose a Payment Method

Payments on PowerPlay run through Interac, the bank transfer network most Canadian chequing accounts already support. Your wallet is held in Canadian dollars, so there is no currency conversion.

The payment account must be in your own name. Limits and processing times are shown in your Wallet before you confirm anything.

  5. Step 05 · Wallet

    Step 5 — Make a Deposit

Open the Wallet in My Account, choose Deposit, enter the amount and confirm it in your Interac flow. The money appears in the same balance the Sportsbook and the Casino both draw on.

If you have set a deposit limit, the Wallet will not let a deposit go over it — the limit is checked before the payment starts, not after.

  6. Step 06 · Sportsbook

    Step 6 — Explore Sportsbook

The Sportsbook lists sports in the side panel — hockey first, then football, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis and more. Pick a sport to see its leagues and upcoming events; open an event to see every market on it, from the money line to totals and player props.

Odds are shown in decimal format: multiply your stake by the odds to see the total return, stake included.

  7. Step 07 · Bet slip

    Step 7 — Place a Sports Bet

Tap any price and it lands in your Bet Slip. One selection is a single; two or more from different events can be combined into a parlay, where every leg has to win. The slip shows the combined odds and your potential return as you type the stake.

Nothing is placed until you press Place bet and the bet is accepted. If the odds move in the meantime, the slip tells you and waits for you to confirm the new price.

  8. Step 08 · Casino

Step 8 — Discover Casino Games

The Casino lobby is split into slots, table games, game shows and live dealer tables. Search by name, or filter by category and game studio to narrow it down.

Each game card shows the studio and type before you open it. Live dealer tables stream from professional studios with real dealers and show their table rules on screen.

  9. Step 09 · My Account

Step 9 — Manage Your Account

My Account keeps everything in one place: your profile and verification status, the Wallet, and a separate history for transactions, sports bets and casino sessions.

Every record has a date, an amount and a status, so you can always see where your money went. You can also change your password and contact support from here.

  10. Step 10 · Responsible gambling

Step 10 — Set Personal Limits

Deposit, loss and session limits can be set for a day, a week or a month. They cover the Casino and the Sportsbook together, because both use the same wallet.

Lowering a limit takes effect straight away. Raising one only takes effect after a cooling-off period, and the old limit keeps working until then. Time-outs and self-exclusion are in the same section.

  11. Step 11 · Withdrawal

    Step 11 — Request a Withdrawal

Choose Withdrawal in the Wallet, enter the amount and confirm. Withdrawals are paid to a verified payment method in your own name, which is one reason identity verification comes first.

Limits and processing times are shown in your Wallet before you confirm. The request appears in your transaction history straight away, with a status you can follow.
